You know, I find an enigmatic idiosyncrasy that can't be found anywhere else in this type of yuri. Drama yuris are getting tedious, male created yuris sometimes went too far or not far enough in their emulation and exploration of the vivid side of female characteristics, there's nothing quite like comfy yuri by female artists. It's perplexing to really find the reason behind it. Regardless, can we make a list of this?
Wife and Wife
Strawberry Shake Sweet (though maybe drama?)
Sisterism
Out of the Blue
Those are some of my favorite more comical Yuri manga. Maybe not exactly what you're looking for, but they are not angst-ridden or anything. And I have no idea if all of them are done by female authors, because I don't feel the author's gender is important enough for me to look up before reading something.

These are all made by male. It's quite easy to see, especially for Sisterism with it's peculiar "gaudiness".
>I don't feel the author's gender is important enough for me to look up before reading something
There's an obscure yet consistent pattern you can see that separates female authors from males, if you read enough of them. For example, both Morishima and Cool Kyoushinsha like to write vulgar yuri comedy, but Cool, like many other male artists, pushes the tease-y aspect further than Morishima, while Morishima explores the more personal aspects of the character further rather than exploring much of the narrative or comedy potential.

If you want gender discrimination why don't you go to radfem blogs and eat their SJW crap.

Also, I enjoy works by both gender, but I apparently have a preference to a particular mannerism.

Anon, I won't disagree that most of the time (not always), female artist to make better yuri stories.
You have a weird example to show that, though.

It doesn't have to be good though, I just want to make a list, because it's some rare stuff.
I recall reading a manga about a female teacher protagonist with man like figure crossdressing as her male twin. I don't remember what it was called, but it was good.

but then, what qualifies as yuri in your eyes? do mtk works with sufficient levels of subtext which may or may not be acted upon, yet draw an audience of yuri fans in anyways, count? How much drama is 'too much drama'? In any case, it's not even that often that MTK works (which seem to be what you're looking for) get transated so you're probably best off learning japanese and scrounging through the gayer ones to find what you're looking for.

Minamoto Hisanari is female.

Having drama is fine, I just trying to find something remotely cheerful and lighthearted, both in the writing and the art. Too much drama is like, you know, Gunjo, NTR, and stuff.
I'd like to prefer beyond subtext, if there's any.

From my intuition it might be, but mangaupdates says the otherwise. Inaccurate data?
