Can anyone tell me how Manga no Tsurikata ends, it feels like I'm reading nothing, I'm really worried there'll be no payoff

I doubt you'll find the payoff you're looking for. It's definitely a manga you read "for the journey".
There is no payoff. There is no journey. It is 8 books of nothing and then a tee hee maybe we'll go out for real this time!
How this reach 8 volumes is anyones guess.

I feel that Nanashi no Asterism is going to go that route.
I think most people just dropped it. I did at around the time the younger girl moves in with that one bitchy artist and the series seems to start focusing more on their relationship with senpai taking a backseat.
I literally don't remember any of their names.
And Oshi ga Budoukan itte shimattara shinu is maybe even worse since the girls aren't even dating. Hirao Auri is just a bad mangaka.

Obviously yuri isn't the main focus in that one.
I didn't like her previous work, but that one is outright funny and even made it onto the kono manga ga sugoi ranking.
