About kumirei, yeah I knew that it wont happen from the start that's why i said i didnt expect a proper ending for them. But even an anti/u/ can see how kyoani forced the yuri on them, which i really enjoyed. The confession of love from kumiko was clearly romantic and theres the red string of fate too. Canon or not, kumirei had some really beautiful yuri scenes that can even beat actual yuri couples.

For asuka and kumiko, the confession was almost the same as the mamiko/kumiko sister confession. And it was done at the last episode too, so theres nothing to look forward to after that. And the official arts after the anime still has kumirei, with asuka supporting/teasing them (op pic).

I dont hate asuka, in fact im one of the asukafags who always post asukapics in a. But for the ship department, kumirei is eternal love.

Honest question: Why are some of /u/ so desperate to make this shit into yuri? Since when has "if she was a guy, no one would say that it's platonic" ever been a legitimate argument on /u/ and not seen as grasping at straws?

However, personally I felt there wasn't anything nearly as serious on Asuka's side. She pretty much saw Kumiko as a kouhai. Her favorite kouhai, but a kouhai none the less. And that's why KumiAsu doesn't touch my heart the same way KumiRei does. It felt much more mutual for those two.

Just finished watching the last 3 episodes because of all the talk about it.
Fuck Reina, you got bronze because you weren't thinking about Kumiko during your solo. Fucken hell Reina confessed not once but TWICE. I almost gave myself a concussion with how hard I face-palmed on the second one.
And Asuka seemed to brush off Kumiko because she wasn't sure what to do.
Overall, the second season was only worth watching for NozoMizore and NatsuRibbons.
