Perrine here is usually paired up with Sakamoto, but Sakamoto is more often paired up with Minna, or with her boyfriend Hijikata. The poor girl doesn't really have a super firm, established partner, but if it's not Sakamoto, it's often Lynne (who is also often paired with someone else).

I slightly expected this to become the most popular alternate pairing for Miku because she was the first to befriend Chris (I've seen popular pairings get started on way less) but it seems like somehow even Chris/Hibiki is more of a thing than Chris/Miku.

That's because Miku is very much decidedly Hibiki-sexual, it's harder to justify her liking anyone else. Meanwhile Hibiki has no qualms holding hands with every other girl she knows, and her dynamic with Chris falls in line with the popular "tsundere/genki" archetype.

I remember once making two shy girls in Artificial Academy fall in love once. I don't recall their specific personalities, but they were two different archetypes that tended towards short phrases and doubtful speech.

Overall I'd say the concept was pretty cute. If the game was more realistic in that regard, their relationship would be unique in that it wouldn't rely on the typical contrast between key points of the two characters (like bookworm/athletic, extroverted/introverted, etc.), but rather on how they both are alike.

There's something really nice about having one of the two girls bashfully say "Come over here", lead the other girl towards the bathroom and make out there without any further dialogue, as if the relationship relied on physical contact to relay what words cannot. And it's great because there's no emphasis on one of the two girls dominating the other or being more of a tsundere, since both are equally shy but cannot really deny their feelings, and that puts them farther from the usual anime romance cliches.

It's a good reaction. I liked it. Sure it's a little rough, but it's cathartic to get finally get the ideas that have been rattling around in your head down on paper. Aw shit dude, never in my wildest dreams would I think to meet an author of one of the only worthwhile /u/ SW fics in existence. Props man.

Maizula is unironically the only /u/ pairing in the original Avatar that makes sense. It explains Azula's hatred for her brother, her kid gloves treatment of Mai and her refusals to listen, her flipping the fuck out at Boiling Rock, and all the times she interrupted Zuko and Mai when he came back.

Because bringing Zuko back was part of her plan to lay him low once and for all. My guess is that Zuko was still Ozai's heir, even during his exile, and Azula wanted to be Fire Lord. She brought him back to make him look even worse when he failed to the point Ozai would disinherit him (which happened).

As to her good mood, Azula isn't the type to let her emotions get the better of her in public. Tyzula folks like to point out that she was jealous of Ty Lee getting attention in The Beach, but did she ever get mad at the boys hitting on her? No. Azula showed displeasure in other ways, like interrupting Zuko and Mai whenever it was convenient.

I remember one of the episodes in Season 3 when Zuko and Mai were out on a stroll somewhere outside of the capital and Azula showed up and dismissed Mai. They clearly glanced at each other and Azula smirked at her before she left. Mai clearly knows what's up.

BW's airing rekindled the flame in me, and I've been pumping out more art in the past few days than I have in weeks.

I actually have a 22 page SW fic that I haven't touched in over five years. I'll finish it someday.

I like it so much because of it keeps Eila's usual personality as a cocky prankster intact. Eilanya is nice and all, but being anywhere near Sanya turns Eila into a stuttering mess and while it's cute, it's a bit monotonous and takes off that wonderful edge of teasing that Eila has with Perrine. I'm a sucker for pairings where sparks and small objects fly between the lovebirds.
