I wish they pushed it further. Yuzumori calls her disgusting and runs away, but comes to realise she has confusing feelings for Mimiko as well and she finds Mimiko and they start an uneasy relationship and explore their feelings together.
I think that way it still leaves a lot of possibility for the dark undertones of Mimiko's battling her lewd desires, because she'd give in to her urges and push the relationship faster then Yuzumori can handle.
I really hope they don't lose the focus on Mimiko's internal struggle. I like their past mix of loli yuri pandering and dark internal conflict.
