Speaking of Harley and Ivy, I am surprised by the lack of DC Superhero Girls ship art. Or fics. Or really anything. I think I read one Harley/WW drabble. Or was it WW/BB? Don't remember.

It's amazing how much has changed in five years. Back when the big Bubbline episode came out it seemed impossible to have openly lesbian or bi characters in American cartoons. Now it's occured several times. Adventure Time has no real excuse to not canonize Bubbline now. I think the comics might have made it explicit but they're not mainstream.

Courage the Cowardly Dog. Episode "The Mask". They're a literal cat and rabbit, fyi. Mods on here however apparently don't like furry characters so it's safer to post humanized art. In the episode they're undeniably gay for each other. Bunny is in an abusive relationship with a dog who seperated her and her bff Kitty because he was jealous of their friendship. Kitty thus hates all dogs now. After Courage saves Bunny and reunites them, Kitty accepts that not all dogs are bad and they run off together.

I love the Jem comics, and I'm not even really miffed at all about the Tumblr-ish tendencies of some of the character designs (Stormer and Shana being fat, for example; there are plenty of ladies out there who're both heavyset and gorgeous, after all), but the only thing I'm not happy with is how reserved Stormer's hair is compared to not just most of the other musicians, but especially to the Misfits. Campbell's original character design for her was far superior simply because her hair was so befittingly outlandish.

Favorite ship is Jerrizzazz, though. I've always liked the idea of Pizzazz thinking it's hatesex at first and slowly coming to terms with the fact that she's actually in love with Jem, only to find out that Jem (whom she loves) and Jerrica (whom she regards as little more than a snooty, self-important bitch) are the same person. Sort of.

More people seem interested in pairing the female characters with Lincoln (either because of or leading to all the "It's a Harem Anime" jokes), so sister pairings get ignored or overshadowed, with stuff that might seem like it's that territory just going back to Lincoln again. At the moment, I think that pairing is just the only non-incest yuri pairing that actually isn't too far a stretch and doesn't feature an original character or a character with no speaking roles.
And yeah, "Liberty" was the supposed idea of Lincoln as a girl, before the canon r63 was even shown.
