Making a thread for this series before a certain autist overtakes the entire board with his own trademark version of the English language.
Despitethe male selectors which is the single biggest mistake to ever happen in this series, the new WIXOSS is yuri-friendly.For now.
Old anime and other media are welcome, of course.
>>2165963
Really wonder what best girl's role will be in this series. And who her LRIG is.
The first two episodes were okay, but I get the feeling something's lacking.
>>2165977
>but I get the feeling something's lacking.
Okada's missing.
It's a bit uncomfortable at first, but it will be good for us in the long run.
(By the way, when I say us, I don't mean /u/s as much as I mean the people watching the show. If there's anything Okada did right, it was lather on the yuri.)
>>2165963
That's my kind of thread.
I can't believe that /u/ has so little interest in this series. The anime was heavy subtext and the manga were actual yuri. Was the brother-sister incest really that triggering?
>>2167416
It took a while for the Iona thing to show up on the last series, and before that it was dominated by the brocon.
Then you have here Chinatsu going through some clearly antagonistic developments
>>2167416
I liked the previous 2 seasons a lot.
However some anons pointed out they weren't too keen to follow a series that blatantly shows het incest but are still coy about committing to actual onscreen lesbians, and I can't really fault them for thinking that since besides Akira, everyone's interactions never got past subtext level.
Also I'm not picking up this third season because like OP said, male selectors really are the single most dumbest thing they could've thought of after all that LRIG and Mugen Shoujo stuff. Basically I'm just playing it safe
Sidenote; You nee-sans are heroes for taking the bullet for this one.

>>2165977
It's probably Amika, Sakaguchi or the combination of both.
Or it could be Piruluk. My inking is horrible.
>>2167443
Eh I'm sold the moment they are shown being together in chains instead of the usual red string of fate.
Their LRIGs Mel and Ril are based on each other's memories of their most important person, Chi-chan for Suzuko and Suzu for Chinatsu.... Not to mention they are also imitating them.
>>2167416
The plot is kinda boring and the pace is too slow at times.
>>2167416
not enough BATORU
>>2167443
>However some anons pointed out they weren't too keen to follow a series that blatantly shows het incest but are still coy about committing to actual onscreen lesbians
Maybe because the incest wasn't show as a good thing. I don't know about you, but if one of the girls wish was to be with a girl she likes and everyone started to say it was wrong and immoral, I wouldn't really be happy with it.
The girls relationship got way more development, anyway. And I don't know...I think one girl licking another girl's tears and saying they'll be together forever is way too intime to be seen as just friendship, anyway.
Also, there was two girls who'll literally spend the eternity in the void together. How is it subtext when one girl gives up her entire life to be with another?
Also, I'll defend that using male selector this time isn't really dumb. It'll become dumb if they become romantic interest for the girls, but so far none of that seems to be happening. It actually makes sense that this new system allow males, because there was a reason for the last one focus on girls.
It could still work. Also, the writer is the guy who makes series composition for Pripara. As far as I know, Pripara is pretty gay, so who knows...
>>2167524
As far as I know, the only one who likes men in PriPara is a crossdresser boy.
Aikatsu added a four boys group. Two of them like girls, who felt nothing about them. And a girl likes one of them, so you might be thinking about that.
>>2167513
Is there a reason this system needs to have males though? I don't think we know who created it and why they did it. (yet)
>>2167581
I don't think it's about having reason to have males, but not having reason for not having them.
The previous series even had a meta-reason for it to be all girls, with the whole "the girl became the lrig" thing. There's no male card, after all.
I would say, they did that to make something different than the first series. No one was expecting male selector, so it's a twist already.
>>2167524
I'm tempted to take your offer, butwould would want to line 20s pages of Chinatsu/Suzuko stuff?
... I wanna make Chi-chan Enkou h doujin and Suzu is paying for her...basically mono-eye but without the het.My sketch is way more horrible than this, this is the cleaner ver.
>>2167659
unf.
I'm no good at making hearts
What did I watch? Watching Suzuko is like watching Homura as she is slowly turning into a villain, except Suzuko is a lesbian.
>>2168531
This meme needs to die.
Did anyone watch the new episode?
I did and it was focused on a male selector. His LRIG was the blue loli who was a little bitch.
>>2171765
At least the probability that he will interfere with the yuri is very low.
That other guy seems dangerous though.
Way to ruin everything, Chi-chan.
>>2175543
Did she already lose and her LRIG took over? So no hopes for yuri?
>>2175648
No, she became addicted to battoru and started bullying Suzu.
>>2175654
>stopping to think about your girl because of a stupid card game
New episode was yaoi. I'm tempted to drop this
>>2175825
It means our yuri ship is safe from two potential love interests. Kirito lookin ass dude is still dangerous though.
>>2175825
This Wixoss is a fucking joke in comparison to the older anime. Who the fuck thought that putting "decent male characters" would make it better? Judging from the sales right now, it's selling like crap and I'm very happy about it.
>>2175902
The wixoss anime never sold much to begin with, it was always just an ad to sell cards.
>>2176114
And the cards looks shit anyway. This series will die soon because of Lostorage.
I don't know how this will end.It seems that some guys were lrig, huh, maybe that include the bookmaker although he is annoying seriously toward main couple.
Chii-chan needs a hug and everything will be daijoubu.
>>2176129
Have you seen the artbooks? The card art is stunning. Also the TCG frequently sells out on Amazon.

Were you mistaking a WIXOSS thread for a YGO thread?
>>2176114
>The wixoss anime never sold much to begin with, it was always just an ad to sell cards.
Though the difference will be significant since the original sold about 3K+ on average while Lostorage is not even coming close to that
>>2175902
>Who the fuck thought that putting "decent male characters" would make it better?
Maybe the dude that made that thread about decent male characters in yuri.
Anyone still watching this?
>>2181191
Yes.
>>2179195
YGO isn't dying out anytime soon having celebrated it's 10th anniversary.

>Anyone still watching this?
I'm still watching both this andMahou Shoujo Ikusei Keikakueven though both are mentally depressing.too much sorrow and death in them both for me.
stirred raws when
uuuuu
anyways here's my contribution orznew fetish acquired?
>>2182532
Thanks for this, Mayu's kinda cute
So, this week
the battle between Homura x Chinatsu was soonar than expected, end in withdrawn because Chi-chan love Homura so much that she lose focus
>>2187204
So Chi-chan is already yandere for Suzuko. And that was pretty twisted, for a little kid to want her childhood friend's smile for her only- and want her to be defendant on her. Now I'm waiting for Suzuko to be yandere herself.
Anyway it's shown that time isn't really stopped since the battle got interrupted.
This anime ruined its own meme and that's really sad
I still have hope for this anime.
Dat Kiyoi's LRIG
So the bad guy is actually a lrig, and since he was with a woman in his Apartment earlier... This went full yuri. Also Hanna seems to get attached to our heroine too.
>>2197801
>So the bad guy is actually a lrig, and since he was with a woman in his Apartment earlier...
Wait so he was a woman all along?
>>2197801
Wasn't the woman his LRIG?
>>2197955
>yes he is a woman (former lrig) inside.
So a woman mind in a guys body then, like Wixoss couldn't become worse every episode now we get trans stuff in it.
>>2198280
Are you implying trans people haven't been around for "hundreds of years"?
>>2198341
Please, go with that bullshit to another place.
>>2165963
I am torturing myself now with this fucking show. Suzuko and Chiinatsu better reconcile or I'm never watching this series again.
I've gain a little bit of faith, in this show after this weeks ep
>The new Piruluk is Kasukabe Haru
HARU!!!!!
Now where's Musubi-chan or Ume to love you tenderly?
Ulith
>>2200968
>I hate this shit
>but I'm still gonna watch on
I will never understand this mindset.
>>2211718
It's mostly the sunk cost fallacy
So, Chinatsu x Homura reconciliate
it was so easy that should be done in they first talk
Since I never bothered with this hearing it will have male selectors, was this yuri related or it was Mugino's yuribait?
>>2213570
read the thread if you don't believe me
actually this season proof that was right the male selector were inoffensive in romance term, they were even eliminated
but you don't even know the franchise so whataver
>>2213570
It's goggleable, especially Chinatsu's possessiveness, but it doesn't actually have much that tries to suggest romantic subtext between the girls.
>>2213604
No one will ever listen to you man.
>>2213570
There are many distractions, but at its core, the series is about China-Homu obsession with one another.
>>2213570All the male selectors lost the battle and dissapear
I don't even know what the point was of having them. Maybe something you can easily discard?
>>2213630
Maybe it was decided they were contributing negatively to ratings and were discarded.
>>2213756 here
Or maybe the anime staff were forced to include them by the people in charge of the card game.
Thus, they decided to eliminate all of them, because they never wanted that shit in the first place
>>2213761
Except that now you have a bunch of dudes running around acting like over-the-top stereotype girls.
This has to be someone on the writing staff's fetish.
