I wouldn't bet on it, the author once introduced the engineers and they were all male.

If you watched it then you saw the #1 ranked freshwomen and heard her declare her love for ladies, right?
If you saw the end of the OP video with the characters frozen then you may have also seen their were guys in that freeze frame. The guys will be completely non factors. All that being said if you didn't enjoy the first episode (I enjoyed it a great deal) then you can just stop watching now. If the premise and characters didn't appeal to you now then they probably aren't going to later on (you've already made up your mind). The rest of use will enjoy our yuri show.

Now I've seen some weird premises before in my years as a weeb, but this might take the cake. Not that I mind that much.

What I like (and at the same time worries me) is that there is actual thought put into the sport, and it's not just T&A for the sake of it like most ecchi series.

Important lessons being learned.

Yeah, I knew this was going to be goofy fun show, but I didn't expect it to be this good. The action sequence had that raw energy of Air Master and it has the same kind of crazy powers and competitive spirit of Saki. If the rest of the show is just as good as the first episode, then this will go into my all time favorite list, yuri or not.

I'm working my way though it, and it's really good so far.

If you watched the first episode then you met the very lesbian blonde girl. If you watched the third episode then you've met the very lesbian blue haired girl. How you can say its lacking gay with those two flaunting their lesbianism I don't understand. Also if you've been paying attention the white haired girl who is a main character is clearly sexually attracted to our main character "the butt cannon", and gets jealous whenever main girl appears to show interest in other girls.

It's okay in that aspect. Few open lesbos and strong subtext that bleeds into plain text between the two main characters/rivals. Skim through thread for some page examples. Overall I'd compare it to Queen's Blade only less lewder obviously and with no side-het fanservice.

That's a shitpost from /a/. There are no boyfriends, only one guy character that mostly served to ask questions. He was there because editor basically forced the author to include guys. However the author didn't like them and discarded them at first chance saying that Nozomi isn't interested in that romance. Hell, the first chapters with him didn't even get animated and all mentions of him were retconned in the adaptation. This is because editor had no say in it.

The anime basically suffered zero for the guys exclusion. I mean, without a male in the main cast, the show have to, for the most part, skip the tired cliches of an ecchi show (no bumping into each other followed by panties shot, no guys groping breasts accidentally, no guys breaking into rooms full of naked girls, etc.), and focus on the sports parody, which is the main point about the entire thing. Also, it forces the author to be a bit more creative when coming with excuses for lewd scenes (for the last time, isn't tribbing, is Nozomi countering another girl technique!), so the show feels more fresh, or original.

Fuck, even the fujoshi comes out better without the inclusion of males. She having lewd thoughts by merely watching the clouds made her look even more delusional, so she stands out more compared to the typical fujoshi in other shows, like that girl from kiss him, not me.

Also, personally, I dislike shows that focus exclusively on drama and romance (yes, also /u/ shows), so an anime without a hint of romance is a Heaven's gift for me.

stuff in the manga so we probably wouldn't had that in the anime even if there was guys. I don't even think that the manga is that sexy with the style it's drawn so you'll focus more on the action rather than checking out t'n'a, but maybe that's just me.
