Is D.Va/Sombra gonna catch on? Probably not on tumblr if Sombra is revealed to be older than D.Va, but still. I don't know man, I guess I just want D.Va's (arguably) most popular ship to stop being a hetshit one.

I don't know it really depends on the franchise? if there is a lot of shippable female characters then I don't think there is a problem but if it's shit like Marvel universe or something which has like 1:6 female:male ratio then of course you'll predominantly see m/m ships.

I'd say having 10+ females in its cast and barely any established relationships between characters is kinda "catering towards people who coincidentally might be more predisposed to shipping /u/" anyway
but still there are series with fairly even gender ratios that manage to get popular yuri ships (from the top of my head, Adventure Time, Tomb Raider, Life Is Strange, Frozen, Korra, 100 etc)

I like D.Va/Mercy a lot too but I could also get behind D.Va/Sombra and like I've said it'd be nice if it could become decently popular just so I won't be forced to put up with Lucio's monkey face anywhere near D.Va in as much anymore. One can only hope.

God I have the exact same feeling towards Lucio/Tracer
As for the other two, D.Va/Genji is probably the most popular D.Va ship in Asia, D.Va/Lucio practically doesn't exist there, like mentioned above they seem to have replaced Tracer (or Symmetra) for het shipping him.
Interestingly Gency almost doesn't seem to exist in Asia as well. Win some/lose some I guess.
I think the only universally shipped het ship is Meihem
