AnR setting makes it easy for it to have sequels/spin offs. You just need the target and some assassins. And then you can change a few stuff like: if the target will succeed or die, if she will want to be the queen bee, if she will have any guardian(s), if the assassins will also attack each other instead of just attacking the target, if there will be permanent deaths, etc.

The manga isnt really better than the anime, objectively speaking.

But it does toss out a little more details here and there about the characters, and the characters are really the fan favorites anyway. Haruki and Isuke being the prime examples of this. Their little interactions and contrasts got themselves hugely popular and a lot of that were skipped over in the anime.

Fuck I hope the final chapter has some solid pages for Team Sexy. They were absolutely the best thing about the series for me and Minakata should know that her Small Riddle doujin for Isuke/Haruki sucked and needs to make up for it.

It's absolutely amazing Minakata left no ambiguity for Team Sexy but damn, I wish they were physically together too instead of Isuke being on a baller vacation while Haruki's working her shitter job. Maybe they just wanted to stick to the anime as closely as possible.
