So I've finished Threshold for my preparation of reading the Alabaster series, and are now going into the Alabaster: Pale Horse short story collection but holy crap the ending of Threshold was weird as fuck and I don't even know how that is working with Alabaster at all.
Now I've read Threshold itself has a sequel with Low Red Moon (but without Dancy) which itself has another sequel with Daughters of the Hounds (which features a Dancy cameo) and hoo boy that's actually a pretty interesting setting all in all.

Might as well have just read Alabaster (or the Pale Horse version) since Threshold itself pretty much retconned itself and the Dancy in Alabaster is, even by Kiernan's own words, a way different character than in Threshold, and I guess that makes sense if we see Alabaster to the already retconned Threshold and then going into the comics from there.

Contrary to Cpt Marvel, WW is actually quite emotional. Her current run and her appearances in Superman and now Trinity show her smiling, being sad and actually caring about the people around her.

My biggest problem with Bombshells right now is its huge cast. The plot has to sporadically switch focus from one character to the next, and I think the pacing suffers for it. The plot feels like it starts and stops over and over as we switch back and forth between different characters and locations, and I have to say I would've preferred a more focused, Justice League-esque whacky period piece with a smaller team that we grow to love and relate to as we follow them on WWII adventures.

I guess we've got to sell toys though.

What I'm trying to say is that I'd like more Batwoman gayness. Am I crazy?

To be fair Harley has dependent personality disorder and Joker triggers that in her. Ivy treats her like an equal in past stories and in a way represses her dependency on him but once he shows up again there's nothing to that can be done. And they've shown Harley and Ivy have sexual and emotional attraction for each other in many books but Harley and Joker is more of a cerebral S&M thing. He abuses her and she's okay with that.

Except none of them is the villain. They made it pretty clear Lena isn't supposed to be an "evil" character. It'll still be interesting to see how they play with the Kara/Lena dynamic.
And since they already referenced Gotham, I'm guessing they'll have Maggie mention Kate Kane or talk over on the phone with her etc. and have her as her mysterious girlfriend offscreen OR they might go for the Maggie/Alex route. That sounds plausible too.
Also, it's confirmed that Sara Lance (White Canary) will have a little crush on Kara so the 4-night crossover ought to be very interesting too. Plus, we're getting Miss Martian too sometime this season so Kara will sure have her hands full with ladies to interact with.
Overall, this new season looks fun and with lots of gay subtext potential and not only.

Still hoping for that live-action KaraSteph too. Not gonna give up hope
