It's OK if it's yuri.

The third chapter was pretty good, and the title page was well drawn.
But I couldn't quite get over the fact they didn't say what flavor of ice cream it was.
Did the author think that just making it look like cookies and cream would get the point across?
But I could sort of see it being a light green chocolate mint, which nags at me.
Did the author think that not going out of the way to say what flavor it was would be more realistic?
That leaving it up to the reader would express it more meaningfully?
No, that's not it. That was cookies and cream.
It has a long name, so it was probably left out to preserve the flow of the dialogue.
And just having one of the two say what they were eating would disrupt the balance of the scene, so it was left out for both.
Given that logic, I can understand it.
I just think it was a little weird for a manga written by a professional.

Like how Aki Eda has done both yuri and het for ages, and lots of yuri too, but only really gets general attention and longer series if they're het.
