I think Megumi and Sachi's story is a pretty sad one. In love for so long, yet unable to even touch.I find it quite poignant, yet the story was clever enough not to throw it in my face but rather put it in the back of my mind so that it's a quiet, insistent thought.
There were moments where I thought the whole thing could use some more development, and a scene with exactly that was unlocked.
Rather impressed with how memorable it all feels.
Also A.A.Ai is best song.

I used to be one of the ones who could enjoy mere subtext and the odd hint of a crush in my yuri back in the day. Nowadays however I need blatant physical attraction and affection or I lose interest.

I guess it's kinda why I have moved on from anime to reading more manga instead. Kindred Spirits is the first VN I've ever played and it is absolutely adorable. I'm purposely taking my time at going through the apple scenes because I don't the experience to end.

That's my biggest issue with the art style, besides my irrational hate of brown hair (even black hair would be fine, it doesn't have to be an anime hair color). Ano never shows her tits, and she's always wearing baggy clothing so all those times characters in the story looks at them and calls them big or whatever came off as unconvincing. Which kind of ties into another issue I have with the game. It's been advertised as tame, tasteful and having less porn than the "uncensored sex on Steam!" shit would suggest, but then it throws something like 6 sex scenes in the span of 12 chapters on me due to the way the story/planner progression was set up and I wasn't so sure anymore.

I think it's safe to say this is 100% subjective. Ano is straight, we don't have any reason to see a sex scene featuring her in a yuri game.

Also, despite the baggy clothing, you can actually tell she has a larger chest than the rest of the girls, and it would only be easier for the other in-game characters who can see it in three dimensions.

As far as it being tame goes, I think most people are just referring to the fact that isn't a porn game, for all intents and purposes. It has comparatively tame (and few) h-scenes to any VN with h-scenes that I've played, which is admittedly few, but there isn't even any genitalia. Also, the actual acts being portrayed are tame.

I just think it's a matter of taste.

I was looking for a way to capture the stream directly, and the best idea I could come up with was to use a sniffer on the network adapter and capture all the URLs accessed by the Steam client. It actually works, the stream is not encrypted. Unfortunately, both video and audio streams are split into thousands of segments, so it will take a lot of time to download all of them and manually combine into a single video file.
And I can't do this myself because I don't own the CDs.

I hope that someone will share the files from MangaGamer website, it will be much easier.

Okay it's exporting. The upside of all this is it's basically as high quality as it's going to get from a Steam recording. Since I had to edit it anyway, I went ahead and masked all the extraneous bullshit steam adds (the timeline, the title at the top, etc.). The only thing I couldn't remove was the little 'play' icon that flashed on the screen at the very start.

So exporting's going to take a while and then uploading is going to take a while, but hopefully I'll have a link for you all tonight. If not, definitely tomorrow morning.

Sorry this has already taken so long! I'm pretty busy so I had to go do other stuff for a while a few times while I was working on this, that's why it's taken me almost 7 damn hours to do what I have so far.

Actually, it's not that hard. The whole process consists of these four steps:
1. Set up the software and start the sniffer.
2. Play the video.
3. Put all the links from the sniffer in DownThemAll or any other downloader.
4. Reupload the segments on MEGA and wait until someone else combines them.

My method appears to have a serious flaw: expiration of access tokens in each URL. You'll most likely get an error 403 when try to download the segments. I guess I was lucky the first time, but now it happens all the time on a video that I use for testing. So that was a waste of time.

It turns out that Aki needs to watch out, because Youka attracts older sister types who dote on her and also younger sister types.

The shop owner that made Sasa a model for her store looks a bit like Sachi and is a perv who love dressing up attractive girls and taking pictures of them. Sasa was actually a bit scared of her at first.

Matsuri gets along well with Yuna's mom and Miyu gets along well with Hina's mom.
