I seriously found it a chore to go through Matsuri and Miyu's scenes. It had a satisfying resolution, but I found it was just the same back and forth bullshit and it really made me dislike both of them. I also didn't get why they kept on alluding to leaving each other to be with Hina. Is this just a Japan thing?

That's what I didn't like about their story too. I liked it up to before the festival, but after that it was meh to me.

I'm at the summer camp when Yuna is suddenly blushing and falling in love with Hina. I don't know, seems kind of out of nowhere to me. I mean, they were childhood friends and prior to this arc there was no sign of romance between them what so ever. Actually, it seemed like more of a big sister little sister relationship, so it just seems like an odd shift.

Not that I totally mind, and I am hoping Yuna gets her loli ending. As long as the relationship progresses naturally from this point forward.

The way I see it is that Yuna's feeling were kinda already there, she just simply didn't consider possibility of being in love with another girl, especially with childhood friend. Now that she went through some trouble with all that yuri cupid business and has seen a lot of girls in love with other girls, she's starting to look at Hina differently. I liked how that happens and I think the game did a good job of doing it on purpose. We play from Yuna's perspective and she has bottled up emotions and generally is lost with her feelings as you see from their talk. The plot is about gay ghosts but the story is still from Yuna's perspective and it looks like she is finding herself when she isn't busy working her lesbian magic on the school. It makes sense that seeing Hina open up and share how much she is invested in Yuna's well being would be an eye-opening experience for the viewer as well as Yuna.

Alright, I just finished the main story and only have the extras left to do. Holy shit, what an experience. I was expecting it to be an emotional ride, but I wasn't expecting it to be like that.

I love how much respect it had for the relationships, hardly anything felt rushed (except for Operation Sparkling Sunshine) and the sex scenes felt like they were two people who loved each other making love rather than doing something sexy for the viewer. I was rather surprised to find that Yuna fell in love with Hina, if anything I thought she would fall for Ano.

Fucking solid 9/10, if this was a video game it would be my GOTY.

Ok finished with the game. Overall I thought it was pretty good; nice characters, nice scenes, and some good laughs here and there.

There were some problems too though. One of the biggest ones is Hina. She appears mostly an autist, her strongest personality point being "goes fast" and near to the end, "loves the MC". While that could be excused, what cannot is her voice acting. The rest of the cast is okay and above, but hers is insufferable, like bleach to your ears. I ended up going without voice in any scene where she makes an appearance (thankfully there aren't too many).

Other minor points is how the game telegraphs that Yuna will start lusting after the midget during the second, or possibly the third, month. When everyone knows this is not a branching game, it informs you of the game's ending rather early. Another is how Yuna, who can't for weeks decide how she feels about Hina is afterwards immediately ready to have sex with her, while also being possessed. Her hangup with a certain event in her past also feels rather overblown (then again so is Sachi's "dark secret").

I'm not sure what to make of the voyeuristic aspect of the story, though the game avoids uttering a single word about the ghosts' presence during the scenes. But you know anyway that they are there.

8/10 would probably read again someday

I've gotten probably to the mid point in the game and am wondering if these extras which are being talked about in this thread are part and parcel of the standard game. Regrettably I bought the simplest game package without the drama audio things, did I miss my chance for these extras too, without repurchasing the larger option?

You're fine, anon, there is only one version of the game. The extra apple scenes unlock based on picking the right choices during the game (you can redo the scene if you missed the correct choice). There's a guide somewhere with the dates if you picked the wrong choice and need to rewatch an old scene to unlock its apple.

After thinking about it I figured she went through the entire story of the two ghosts, when she said she would tell Hina everything after confessing.She did after all want to tell Hina how she was able to come to her decision about loving her, and I suppose getting to the point at the end about them needing two physical bodies to possess then wouldn't be as awkward, and Hina being Hina would just be "yea okay I believe you let's do it" without thinking what it entailed.

That being said, the whole possession sex thing was still probably the weakest part of the entire story
