not really.
Playing the game when you're pursuing a girl, you'll always have a friend of hers appearing in the route. No real yuri content (except a yuri-wannabe girl), but a lot of things on the thin line of yuri, like one girl dependant by the other, one girl that see another one as a daugther, and so on.

Otherwise in the Alpha version of the game there's some explicit yuri content, if I remember correctly
- A yuri dream
- A yuri dramatic story
- A party with girls drunk with two of them going away to snu-snu

I don't even dislike Katawa Shoujo or anything and I didn't think there was anything really wrong with that route either - but it was absolutely the antithesis of yuri appeal. I mean I'm not a purityfag but a story where the only gay character actually has sex with the male MC and nobody else, nor has any substantial yuri content absent of sex either, is absolutely worthless from a /u/ perspective.

I started playing the game, and was a bit confused at the beginning. I thought we play as the girl with dark hair, and thought a boy was asking her out, then in the hospital it was confirmed that it was a girl that asked our character out. It wasn't until partway though day one in the class room that I learned we play as a guy (guess that is what I get for not reading through the thread before starting the game).
