nah, whether realistic style or not, manga or cartoon faces can be done.
However you are simply not experienced enough yet. I would suggest, if you draw something new, look up images of faces you like in roughly the same perspective as the ones you want to draw, and then copy those with slight alterations to fit the new motive. That way you will quickly learn the basics of cartoon/manga faces.
You might have been told this by some online tutorials before, but you should really do the basic shape sketch first, you know, where the head is a circle, the throat a cylinder etc.
These are way more helpful then you might think. Since you draw on paper they will remain on the paper, BUT believe me, if you learn to do it right, even if they remain there it will still look better. (and it's always possible to switch over to ink or digital ink, making erasing the sketches easier)

I think you're style is great. Also, while I enjoy Holly/Daisy, you had some other, original mom/daughter pairings that were nice (the blondes sharing a kiss while another woman looks on is a fav of mine). Not insisting you don't work on what you want, but a lot of people rave about Holly/Daisy... I wanted to chime in that your other stuff is great too.

Idk, just my personal tastes but stepdaughter/stepmother is hotter to me than the actual blood related version. I have yet to find a yuri couple that's mom/daughter that I like.

Also I just assumed susan to be spanish or something and therefore an adoptive mom because fan art always paints her brown. Sort of a disappointment that in the comics, susan is a regular whitey. Not hating white girls, but that delicious brown made her really hot.

That's why I like keeping the best of both the comics and cartoons. Like Susan being delicious brown from the cartoon(but still keeping the blood relation of course). But also keeping Will's upgraded outfit from the comics we may lose sexy midriff but we gain sexy fingerless gloves.
