But these days, it seems that the line between korean culture and kpop is diminishing. Sometimes you will be able to see how korean pop stars or artists influence the Korean culture. well if you follow wdtfs trends from first arc observantly, you'd notice that the writer likes to jump story when it comes to seju's part. eg. the end of arc one where seju and sungji meets, seju's mother scene, seju's dad falling sick and his brother coming back *then like nothing happen*, seju going to sumin's house and see sungji and sumin, and now the previous chapter. there's more i guess, but that's what i can recall. seju's scenes always come out as if like something big is gonna happen and we're anticipating it next chapter (like she gonna cause drama, vagblock or goes yandere or something), but the next chapter, seju suddenly either all out of the scene or just nothing big really happen. maybe she's just a scapegoat whenever the writer is having writerblock on sumin and sungji.

Got about 2 chapters left until the hiatus (if they plan to release only 27 chapters for this second arc, so hiatus starts after 54). Bet there's gonna be anothet Seju cliffhanger. Author also said that they don't know when they'll return (most likely more than a month - they said this on ask.fm or twitter before). Dry spell gonna be long as fck.

Rings sure play a big part in this. Because Sumin lost the ring in the past it sort of triggered Seju to go to the bar to drink. Now Sungji is gonna come through the door looking or asking for/about the ring because she told Sumin she will look for it and knowing Sungjis character she'll do anything to find it. She'll find Seju and Sumin in a compromised position or worse, if Sumin decides to sleep with Seju. II. Because of that cheating scenes, Seju haters create in their mind the idea of Seju being responsible for Seju's brother hitting Sumin and all of Sumin's fail relationships automatically becomes Seju's fault
III. They also creates the idea that Seju is a desperate, conning woman, a suicidal, a psycho, believe that once a cheater always a cheater, an annoying etc

Which is kinda sad because despite me being a pro-Sungji, I also found Seju as one of the most strongest woman character. She commits a mistake and she lives up to the mistake she makes. She doesn't go around make another mistake and learn from it. She waits for Sumin, it may look unhealthy, but I think she had very clear goal of what she wants. She loves Sumin and she only want to marry Sumin, so she's not the type to look for others anymore. It's just unfortunate that she makes the biggest unforgivable mistake instead.

It's funny, I started off liking Sumin and Sungji, and root for them but as time goes by, I'm being put off with Sumin's character. Especially after finding out how she purposely sleeps with other girls just to piss off her ex-gf who hurts her and the threesome she had with girls (I'm a big no to threesome) and the way she treats Sungji (not answering Sungji's call etc, but luckily author save her character by making her goes sweet to Sungji and go all the way to the hometown for Sungji).

I think out of characters, I like Sungji best and then Seju (she climbed Sumin's spot) and Sumin last. I think it's probably because the author takes too long time to mature up Sumin's character. I still root for Sumin Sungji, I just hope she really toughen up and play a strong character. She needs to say no to Seju and if Sungji finds out, talk to Sungji honestly.
