Although I'm all for SuminxSungji, I kinda sympathize with Seju for acting like a fool & being unable to move on from Sumin. It's simply just human nature.

Yes, Seju knows she made a huge mistake but, she has been regretting ever since then (e.g. for >10 years not seeing anyone, not drinking alcohol, let Sumin have sex with her even though she knows Sumin hates her to the core, see her dates around with random women). It’s also partially Sumin’s fault. If Sumin didn’t went back to find Seju for sex, who knows, Seju might have already moved on if she’s being left alone & given enough time to heal. Sumin constantly going back to Seju is just giving her false hope when her wounds are still fresh. So understandably, Seju find it hard to move on.

You see, to Seju, Sumin is everything to her.
Sumin was the only person who believed, cared & made her feel loved & experience happiness even when the whole world (mainly her closest family members) seems to despise her, doesn't even treat her as a human being (calling her names) & wants her dead every single f day.

Sumin is different she was Seju’s light at the end of the tunnel, a safe refuge, first love & the sole reason that kept her alive & not lonely. Just imagine someone like that leaving you but keeps coming back without putting in feelings for you, won't you feel hopeless & heartbroken so much so that you would rather die?

Seju has fallen into a state where her mentality is: If Sumin can't love her, she would rather be hated on by Sumin compared to Sumin completely ignoring/abandoning/not talking to her forever. At least then, Sumin has a reason to find her (e.g. to quarrel, fight, sex) & she can still see Sumin. Can you understand now why Seju did all those things (e.g. telling the red head’s fiancé about the affair)?

I still can't really understand why Seju had to cheat on Sumin willingly with some random guy and wait with him in the apartment for Sumin to arrive.

She wanted to hurt Sumin by doing so, or show Sumin she is inferior now for this random guy.

Imagine Sumin world in that moment, she lost her parents, and her girlfriend instead of being supporting as long it needed to be, after some time decided to scream in her face she's bored with how the things are handled in their relationship, then when Sumin decided to visit her again to apologise or sort things out she discovers her lesbian girlfriend cheated with a guy willingly in their bed and just waited with a guy sleeping there for her to notice...
Add to that the information that Seju was Sumin first love too and as more experienced partner in the relationship she shouldn't fuck up so bad she did in that moment.

In Sumin eyes such betrayal without a real reason done in such way had to be dealt with, and I can't really blame Sumin for pretty much torturing herself and Seju for all these years cause in a way both in the end couldn't really move on from each other even in hate, cause having each other like that gave them some kind of feeling of insane stability.

I want to see Sumin moving on from Seju but showing up to her and staying her friend not fuckbuddy. And I want to see Seju moving on, I don't really care with who, Nami is as good choice as anyone else than a random girl popping up just to play the role.

I can also make my assumption->A good guess is that Scene 2 is less likely to happen. Why? She would have suggested other places like the hotel or the guy's house if she's desperate to have sex with the guy.
