NNB was great. The problem with Gochiusa for me was that the characters all felt flat and uninspired, and their interactions with each other were bland and unappealing.
NNB and KinMoza both had much more interesting and entertaining characters, and much better character interaction and relationship dynamics. Those shows were also funny, while Gochiusa only had generic cuteness going for it.

Not that I hate Gochiusa or anything, but I think I only watch it for the visuals rather than any substantial things like charming characters or humour. It's really is bland.

Finally, I don't feel alone! Apart from what you two have said, I personally disliked the very heavy emphasis of the boke-tsukkomi routine. Sure, Japan loves it and the other shows would occasionally do it, but GU just abused the

routine, it wasn't that amusing. With that being said, I think the second season was an improvement over the first one. And I would gladly watch another season, it's just that in comparison it's the weakest CGDCT shows in a while.

GochiUsa is probably liked, because it has some sense of continuum and is one of the SoL series, who actually tried to have rather varying episodes and "little plots".
Kinmoza for example doesn't really give a shit in that regard. For the most part at least. They go to the beach like once a season, but otherwise it's just allllways the same. If you like it? Great. But I can't help but find it a bit boring at times. It basically fails the "long run" test for me. It's fun at first, but doesn't manage to mix things up enough to STAY fun.

Gochiusa however tried to incorporate all kinds of plots to give the whole thing a bit more variation. However because I don't know s2 yet, I'd rather give another example of a series who does this part really well, and was super successful: K-On S2. It's actually a bit annoying, that most cute girls series don't try to copy what made K-On S2 so successful. I suppose it's not too relevant, when you only have one season anyway. But still. Gochiusa seems to try. And that made it my favorite cute girls series in recent times. Together with non non biyori, which also seems to try, even though it's a bit of a different genre. I mean a little bit of character-development and unique events aren't really too much to ask for, right?

I felt the same way about Gochiusa S1, but desu with S2 they stepped up their game so much I'm glad they're being rewarded with such good sales.

I think it definitely beat Yuru Yuri S3 and Kinimoza S2 as far as sequels go, perhaps because those already had a better beginning in comparison, but I was still very pleasantly surprised.

NNB would be the underdog for me right now, probably because it doesn't have as strong yuri over/undertones as the others.

I don't think it beat Kinmoza S2, maybe it's because I'm biased for the yuri, but Kinmoza S2 managed to be fun and deliver yuri, while Gochiusa S2 was just fun with less concentrated yuri. Yuru Yuri had other problems unrelated to that.

I love it too, it's safe to say that CocoChino has more character development than anyone in Kinmoza, but at the end Kinmoza is funnier and yurier, CocoChino and the character development is a nice plus, but it's not enough to be better.

I feel Non Non Biyori was the most entertaining, followed by Gochiusa, while Kinmoza just had too much focus on kinpatsu this kinpatsu that. Gochiusa felt yurier than kinmoza for me because it often seemed like Shino was more interested in kinpatsu rather than Alice, and sometimes the same could be said of Honoka with regards to Karen.
