It does seem like the AA story will occasionally crossover with the main story. For example, the main antagonist of Volume 8 is Kaname, Kinji's sister, who has a massive brother complex that broaches on yandere territory. From what I can infer from Chinese raws, she decides that Akari and Co. are a threat to her and Kinji through their connection to Aria and she attempts to defeat them by turning them on each other.

Interestingly, in this volume it seems like Raika and Kirin are serious because Kaname blackmails Kirin so it looks like she's cheating with Kyouchikuto. Raika fucking loses it.

Agreed. I've yet to have lack of something every season for quite awhile now. However, I'm a much more liberal Yuri viewer than most, and enjoy the whole range from light to heavy Yuri. So, this coming season will be no different for me.

In the later half of 2016 (max), is where the yuri-er shows /u/ might be more interested in are going to pop up.

However, this season is one of the best for the Yuri fandom, that only comes around once in a blue moon.

Kyouchikutou having a sister made little sense. I mean i liked the mech boss, but they could've made it an automated drone rather than creating an (annoying) anime exclusive character.
The Amica test being redone made sense due to the Amica contract never been official in the anime and personally I liked how they replicate the scene which happened in Akari's dream.

The only thing that bothers me is that we didnt see this page in the manga animated. I dunno what exactly is been said, since i cant read it but based on the visuals I am assuming its Akari being sorry about Shinos injures?

I wished they had showed Kyouchikutou liking Yuri, but I will take what I got in episode 11. I've not seen the last episode yet (waiting for Chihiro). What are the parts that you enjoyed of the finale?

Looks like they never expected to make a second season, since they gave the anime an original ending where Aria and Akari start to work together.

I enjoyed the series, but after reading the manga, I think it could have been a lot better (and gayer).

I think the anime original ending has more to do with concluding the anime in a satisfying way rather than due to low expectations of the show.

Having said that, I sadly cant see this show doing well enough to get another season even though I really want it to happen. Currently I think I would be more than satisfied if simply more of the manga gets scanned and translated as a result of more awareness of this show. From some of the raws I have seen, some scenes look a lot better.

Also why did they randomly make it look like Kyouchikutou had some sort of inhuman super speed in the anime?

As much as I hate playing the devil's advocate for Mugino, HnA had zero yuri potential. The only reason it worked out was because it made a new cast of characters. Same thing with the Accel World spinoff.

Date A Strike did the Railgun thing of centering around the original heroines and making the new female protagonist a perverted joke character. Pretty sure it ended after the fourth volume. Kind of sad, as it was done by the author of Banana no Nana, who can't seem to catch a break and will probably end up having to do het harem.

"Harem"shit is as far as possible away from what you would expect with a completely bland faggot protagonist girls swarm over just for being NICE with no polygamous themes or fitting developing protagonist who can shoulder that responsibility whatsoever meaning heartbreak is inevitable and you know everyone but the heroine are fucking always the losers while yuri is more about feelings and actual character development.

Imagine taking that exact garbage and removing the shitty protagonist and boring heroine who no longer have any reason to remain around and focus on the characters we actually give a damn about who realize they were stupid and immature and proceed to get into cute, lewd shenanigans with each other. Once you've passed that initial phase of shit the catharsis will only be that much stronger. Am I saying to plan out all yuri like this starting out as that shit? One transition is clearly far superior to the other, which is a complete and utter anal abortion that makes POKEMON BEST WISHES tolerable to watch.

If you don't believe me, I'll explain it as simply as this; a series that is nothing more than an excuse to look at sexual shots of girls with no substance or real focus on entertainment outside of fanservice whatsoever goes from that to a series that can have that, but at the same time has actual value in its characters, storytelling and tone honestly making even the most minor fanservice-y scenes more satisfying because you have a reason to care about what happens to them.
