When ppl addressing you with "-shi", it emphasize that you're still not familiar with that person. like there's still gap between the closeness you feel towards them. when you started calling them "-ya" there's a sense of familiarity and closeness, and it also demolish the age difference. sometimes, using "-shi" is also pretty normal for couple especially in early stage of dating/knowing as term of endearment. and why sumin doesn't used "-yo", from my understanding, it'll be more weird for sumin to use "yeoppoyo" coz one, sumin is older than sungji, so it's more normal and typical for her to drop the polite way of speaking to sungji. two, dropping the "-yo" make it sound cuter/closer

Seju is obviously very loyal to Sumin except for that one fluke with the bartender. no matter what people say, alcohol can severely affect your judgement and behaviour. she lied about the guard ajusshi because she feared that Sumin will leave her. Seju is no saint so her way of trying to confront Sumin about the cheating is not exactly right. some people are just too harsh on her. everyone makes mistakes. that halmoni person on tumblr even calls her a witch. however idiots like that lightaeng person on twitter stanning Seju all the way is also ridiculous.

i'm not saying Seju was not wrong by the way. and honestly Sumin herself is fucked up too. she's a rather vengeful person, calling Seju in the middle of the night to let her hear those sounds. i understand she doesn't want Sungji to be involved in all the ajumma lesbo drama, but she did agree to date the girl. she knows how clueless and innocent Sungji is and she keeps on hiding these past issues from her. a good relationship requires mutual understanding and acceptance.

i very much think Sumin and Sungji is endgame, but as of now i don't think their relationship works just yet. Sumin needs to work things out and be more honest/open with Sungji and should forgive Seju, while Seju needs to come to terms with her relationship with Sumin and either move on or actually try to pursue the girl, not just laying in bed waiting for Sumin to come and sleep with her after another failed relationship.
