I just said I haven't watched any of the movies after the second. How is that related to what you said in any way?
Of course I keep them seperated. But I didn't enjoy the first two movies even without comparing to the games. They just fall kinda flat for me. Also Alice isn't a really compelling main character to me. Feels to me like they tried to have their own spin on an Aya Brea-esque character in the Resident Evil setting.

So I started reading that Trigon fic and I'd like to ask, does the writing get any better? I'm at chapter 8 and it 's kinda hard to stay with it, because of the weird writing style (like non-native english first timer fic. Which it might, of course, be).

Guys by "explicit het romance" i meant something you wouldn't handwave as subtext if it was two girls. WiR [1] was Ada leading the way and Claire as her reluctant, subordinate partner. They partner up in a love-hate relationship for the rest of the sequels. 2 was a rendition of RE:CV, 3 was a recast of Leon with Claire, and 4 was a recast of Chris with Claire.

ClockTower, the author, had a great writing style where the odd chapters would be all-out sensual with meat-and-potatoes, solid lesbian sex, and the even chapters would be world building and guns and explosions.

The sex is almost exclusively lesbian, with Sheva, Ashley, Jill, Excella, and even Alexia who reprises her role in iirc WiR 2, 3, and 4, but the one or two errant penises don't play a large part in any entry.

I emailed ff.net to see if they would bother salvaging anything; otherwise, the stories are lost to the ether. I tried other searches and the wayback machine but I get stopped by a robots.txt.
