Is it really a virus, or is it a mutation?
Being a virus would mean its contagious, and if it was contagious it would probably be a publicly known occurrence (which it probably isn't given how MC didn't know anything). I'm guessing a mutation is more probable given that it strange genes in the DNA would be more noticeable, and I'm sure tons of scientist ran a bunch of tests to determine what was the effect of these unknown genes were. (Which would probably eventually lead to them trying lesbian sex). Science is great.

I checked out a episode 1 summery on a wiki and from what I gather, It's Freezing, but yuri and withoutthe girls seeming immortal?
So is it just girls on an island trying to kill each other (but not really) until there is a bigger threat that arrives then they all work togeather to beat?

Ugh, I only watched season 1 of freezing, but there seemed to be no threat of death in that series, slit throats and bodies being blown nearly in half, yet they can be healed. the 'students' seemed to be more of a threat to each other than the big bad at the end.
