It's been decades since I last watched it, but here's what I recall.

There's a Veil of sorts between the dimensions. Sometimes the Veil weakens and beings cross through to the realm of humans.
To prevent this from happening, a dude called the "Oracle" from "Kandrakar", which is one place beyond the Veil, if I recall, appoints five girls to be the "Guardians of the Veil", who defeat these beings that cross and repair the veil. There's a lot more secondary plot I'm omitting because I just don't remember.

As for the girls' abilities.
Will (left) has the Heart of Kandrakar. I have honestly no idea what her powers are, other than the girls needing her to transform. She can also talk (and listen) to electronic appliances (such as TVs and security cams) and "convince" them to work (or not work) as she sees fit.
Irma (second from left) can control water. I don't remember if she can generate it from thin air.
Taranee (center) can control fire.
Cordelia (second from right) can control plants.
Hay Lin (right) can control wind. In the comics, only she could fly around, where in the cartoon all the other girls could.

That's all I recall. Anything more specific will unfortunately require Google.

Yeah that's about what I read.

Will's power is quintessence essentially the power over the essence that makes up everything from what I understand.

I'll still watch it over the next couple of days to gain a handle on Will and Susan's personalities and to further commit to actually writing a fic. I come up with so many ideas but never commit. Well I do have that one Chase x Iris fic under my belt even though I noticed a few errors that slipped my notice.

On the My Giant Friend side of things I've noticed that Iris apparently has the ability to naturally communicate with any alien maybe I can parlay that into Iris being a fledgling psionic.

So yeah a few episodes into W.I.T.C.H. now and well things are pretty cliché it is fairly endearing. The theme song is waaay to catchy I need to watch or I'll find myself humming it.

Anyway while I watch the show to better understand Will's personality I've made some sketches. Just Agent Chase and Susan Vandom(although I think I made Susan look too youthful) for now and soon I'll be giving a go at Iris and Will. And of course once I'm comfortable I'll be drawing various pairings of the four.
