>Bill doesn't stutter.

>Pennywise chases after Bill in all fours with Georgie's corpse strapped to his back in the basement.

>Bill has a second encounter with It, in which he sees red balloons rise from the Barrens and morph into floating body parts of dead kids.

>It appears to Stan as a nude woman who is beautiful from the waist up and horribly decomposed from the waist down, and attacks him while masturbating.

>Eddie's encounter with the Leper happens off-screen.

>Mike's grandfather tells him about the fire at the Black Spot and how it appeared as if something was controlling the mob.

>Beverly has a mother who is obsessed with Beverly's menstruation. Her father also tries to molest her after finding Ben's letter.

>Pennywise saves Beverly's father after she assults him so he can keep tormenting her in the future.

>Henry Bowers rapes a sheep, cums on Eddie's birthday cake (which the Losers eat) and kills Belch under Pennywise's influence.

>Patrick Hockstetter is a pyromaniac who likes to torture small animals with firecrackers.

>The Losers get into a firecracker fight with Henry and his gang rather than a rock fight.

>The Losers build the smokehole and Bill has a vision of It's first encounter with primitive humans.

Half of that stuff is retarded as shit. Sheep rape? Jizz cake? A copy of that scene from The Shining with the naked woman?
>>
His script was shit, see for yourself

>>
>>87671600
How did this guy botch his momentum coming off True Detective? He should have had his pick of projects.
>>
>>87671718
The reason he wasn't cast was because he could do menacing but wasn't great with the clown stuff.

Mendelsohn dropped out of running due to money.
>>
>>87672109
He did. IT was his ticket to the big leagues but he was unwavering in including those edgy sex elements despite complaints from Warner and the kids' parents, and got booted.

What the hell. I like It now.

He is in the middle of reviving Stanley Kubrick's Napoleon biopic. He also has a show with Jonah Hill and Emma Stone coming out soon.
>>
>>87671600
also don't forget, in the original script, it all takes place in harlem.
>>
>>87671619
I never really understood why Will Poulter was originally picked for the role of Pennywise.
>>
>>87673424
Fukunaga wanted Pennywise to look childlike. Also old world and freakish. The new director kept all those ideas.
>>
Well damn I guess the production hell was worth it, that sounds fucking abysmal.
>>
>>87671600
That sounds like kino, I disliked the finished project but that script sounds like it has potential.
>>

Thank FUCK none of this actually happened and we saw the final product
This shit would've been terrible in his original vision
>>

jesus christ how incompetent are these people?
>>
The birthday cake and the sheep never happened in any version. You're going off he said she said.
>>
>Henry Bowers rapes a sheep
Explains his weird "baaaah"-ing as he's looking down at the Losers

>Patrick is a pyromaniac
Explains the whole lighter shit from earlier.

>Firecracker fight was the original idea
Explains the odd rock fight sequence.

The original script was shit, but are there any other interesting remnants from it in the final product?
>>
>>87671600
Some of these changes were for the better.
>>
>>87671600
But was "that scene" in it?
>>
>>87673991

The rock fight happens in the miniseries and the book.
>>
I liked the Starfish form at the end. Do we glimpse his final form at all in the actual movie? I heard a while back you get a brief glimpse of his spider form, but haven't seen it mentioned since then, so maybe bullshit?

>>87674175
Actually yes, sort of. You get a POV shot from Bev putting her hands on the cheeks of each boy one after another. So yeah, it happens, but you don't see it.

Both of these scenes will be in Part 2 although they are changing it to have Mike hallucinate by himself because he's become a drug addict later in life and that is when he will have a vision of It landing on earth
>>
>>87671600
Jesus christ this is all SHIT, thank goodness it was all scrapped

>The Losers build the smokehole and Bill has a vision of It's first encounter with primitive humans.
>Eddie's encounter with the Leper happens off-screen.
This all sounds incredibly retarded. The sex stuff just sounds like Fukunaga trying to imitate King's style but failing miserably. I believe wholeheartedly that writers should try to make a story their own when they adapt it, but this just misrepresents some bits while omitting other important ones.
>>
>>87675408

That would've just looked more goofy than anything else.

Why do people get so mad when someone tries to do something new? What's the problem with not doing the same fucking thing?
>>
>>87673424

He played a pretty good bad guy in Detroit.

Also, Tim Curry wasn't really what you would call "scary". Just...exotic. Poulter is kinda weird looking. Bill Skarsgaard is kind of in the same ballpark too.

The cinematography in It was similar to Cary's as well.

The 80's setting was Cary's idea too. It seems like a lot of the main ideas in It were kept on board by the new director.

Didn't know there were sixteen year old boobs in American Beauty. Never saw it. Kind of want to read up on that. I wish she still lived in an age like when Brooke Shields posed nude. Pubescent girls are meant to be admired.

>>
>>87679095
There's an idea where Pennywise barters with a settler woman for her infant in exchange for sparing her other children. Kind of a callback to the "deal" he gives the Losers after grabbing Bill.
>>
>>87690154
Exactly. That's the main reason he was an integral part of "The Losers" because he had a stutter and was made fun of.
>>
>>87682352
You get Bowers fucking a sheep and jerking it onto a cake but the gangbang in that script wasn't even implied. It was just Bev holding each of the Losers' faces with her hands.
>>
>>87682796
>This was a cool detail
More like "completely integral to his character" as the whole point of the stutter was to show how Georgie's death was affecting him.

It makes sense from a narrative perspective. Ben is the new kid, he spends all his time in the library, and his obsessed with architecture. Going through the history of his new town at the library makes sense. He'd naturally stumble onto a bunch of weird shit going on in Derry and take an interest.

He loses points for being a white knight cuck though. But that doesn't really come into play until later, and only if they choose to include that scene in the sequel.

>only one ONLY ONE who doesn't go towards weird stuff happening in front of him
>wants to get out and away from everything when it kicks off
>overcomes his personal fear to man up and face pennywise
>only one who brings a weapon to the fight and it's a cattle gat nonetheless
>gets sucker punched and has his weapon taken and used against him yet still manages to overpower and defeat mullet man

Beverly is pure!

Fuckyounigga's script had some stuff that was interesting if nothing else like the lake being It's maun haunt, It's "true" form being a tentacled lake monster, Vic drowning in spiders, etc. but ultimately Muschietti's version exceeded expectations and our timeline took the right turn for once.

Pure slut. It's a canon fact
>>
>>87692379
Cute! Cute! CUTE!

Some stuff was good. Most of it wasn't. It's part of the reason I was scared for this movie to begin with since I knew that some of Fuckanigga's shit would still be in there. Stan's encounter with It in particular just made me scratch my head.

The smokehole happened in the book. In the sequel it's confirmed Adult Mike has been tripping balls for 27 years and has the same vision thanks to mind altering drugs.

Admit it though, that shit was annoying to read in the book.
>>

this all sounds like a terrible movie i wouldn't have enjoyed seeing with others.

sounds like it was just gunning for making you as uncomfortable as possible from start to finish which isn't really better or scarier than what we got (which was at least enjoyable despite being forgettable as well)

Why don't you go see a capeshit thriller if you just want to have a good time and feel 'suspense' with your bros, then forget about it?
