Covenant makes Prometheus pretty uwatchable by comparison. Many people are blinded by how good the Prometheus trailers were. They got so hyped that they still have congnitive dissonance about how fucking terrible of a movie it turned out to be.

Yes.

Covenant looks good, but it's a total turd otherwise. The bad is compounded by it being a sequel to Prometheus only to completely drop every interesting storyline from it.

Prometheus had some dumb shit. All of these movies did, including the original. The difference is Alien and the rest had good shit as well. Covenant is literally nothing but the worst of the franchise distilled down to one movie.
