It's usually material shot for TV news that was considered too graphic to air. Occasionally you'll get something that looks like bootlegged home videos but most of it's 80s-era footage of things like assassinations, war atrocities etc. Watched a similar one a while back that was just a barrage of scenes without context set to gabber, pretty miserable stuff.

Depends on the compilation, but most of them do. The Faces of Death series and shockumentaries in general tend to have some narration.

Are there any good torrents?

Me and my buddies used to rent the Many Faces Of Death movies in junior high, but then the internet and shit like rotten.com happened and those VHS's were old news
