and The Town, of course.

But I think KTS is exactly what you're looking for, but set in America instead of England.
>>
>>87638656
I think he meant more, dark/British humour crime films than straight up drama crime flicks
>>
>>87638682
KTS is pretty funny. It's not Brit, but it's very similar in tone to Guy Ritchie movies.

Layer Cake, and to a certain extent Kingsman.
No surprise given Vaughn was the producer of Snatch & Lock Stock.

Pretty much all of Guy Ritchie's films have that feel you're talking about, regardless of setting, for better or worse. He's pretty much a one-trick pony in regards to tone and dialogue, not that I'm complaining. Sherlock, UNCLE, even King Arthur.

I mean the trailer makes the film appear to be a black comedy.
It's not. Like at all. I'd sooner call it psychological horror than comedy, but it's really just a drama/tragedy.

>>
fuck In Bruges

It made me chuckle like twice the whole movie

This shit was so safe and unfunny, it's literally "babbys first grownup non-american comedy"

Retards think its some kino that will make you piss your pants laughing because its not a Kevin James movie and is "intelligent" but it's very forgettable and won't make you laugh like actual funny movies do
>>
>>87640596
In Bruges isn't a comedy, retard.
>>
>>87640596
another retard
>>
>>87640596

It's a comfy movie though. Best watched alone with a beer or two lying in bed.
>>
>>87638932

I don't understand why the business is so underrated. Its not a masterpiece or flawless film but its pretty decent and entertaining 'rise and fall of criminal' type movie set in 80s. There was also plans for sequel but don't know what happened.

also sexy beast is dope.
>>
>>87640596
>>87640649

b-but it always makes me laugh like a retard.

You have the melancholic mood and cinematography contrast the picturesqueness of Bruges and ridiculousness of the situations the characters find themselves in. And I just think that the way it's so seamlessly put together is a example of great direction. It might not be overly clever. But instead it shines with its simplicity.

If someone called In Bruges "the greatest film of all time", I'd tell them to watch more movies. But if they called it "their favourite comedy", I'd share a beer with them if they where a qt grl. The film is still basic as fuck and I know that a lot of normies and tippers love it
>>
>>87640596
>fuck In Bruges
that's enough, sums it up

>>87640726
gets boring mate
