Season 4 and 5 are good. Season 6 has a dumb concept that literally doesn't work as a twist but the writers decided to make the reveal of what had happened all season as a twist. The emotional impact of 50% of the scenes doesn't work because the writers refuse to give you context and instead keep it shrouded in mystery.
Half of the scenes in the last season take place in an alternate timeline that takes place after the characters die. You're too busy trying to work out what this weird metaphysical place is and why the character are trying to remember something [you only find out later that they're trying to find out they're dead] that you miss the emotional motivation of the people

Season 6 is one of the worst single seasons of a show I've ever seen. It's final season of Dexter type bad. Perhaps the worst thing is they sold it as "The season where all your questions will be answered" and than proceeded to answer none of those questions.

To be fair to them, people complained about all the redshirts in the background that were never involved, so they introduced some new characters only for everyone to then complain about that. So they then killed them off in a horrible way to right the wrong. It is a bit naff though, especially the way they show them all in different scenarios with them finding The Pearl station before everyone else and then Ben and Juliet come in...
