Haven't seen the one on the right but I liked Your Name a lot even if it was pretty by the numbers

Deaf one was cute as fuck but the ending was shit like every manga adaptation ever

Both are pretty dull story wise but KnK is a bit more interesting while Kimi no na wa is more visually pleasing (except in the character design aspect).
The biggest disappointment is that yamada failed to improve on the source material which makes the whole movie kinda obsolete. It's a shame since she directed easily the best adaptation ever made.

silent voice had some obnoxious chromatic aberration filters and narrative was weaker overall, it also doesn't have much appeal outside the otaku market

Silent Voice was better overall, but I hated the ending, didn't feel justified. Legit teared up twice during it though and that's better than most films do.

I was told Your Name was kino, but it felt generic as fuck even as someone who doesnt even watch anime.

The only positive thing I can say about it is that is had great environmental art.
