The newer South Park episodes have no re-watch value and date very quickly. Not to mention that the show has become so un-comfy, it is a chore to watch. Too political and preachy these days too.

How did it come to this? Did Trey and Matt lose their imaginations? Have they lost some behind-the-scenes producer / writer who had a huge effect on the show's quality back in the day? I just can't comprehend how the show can be so consistently bad when it used to be so incredibly awesome.
