Our Rick is C-137 and with him is Morty from the dimension they cronenburged with the love potion. In that dimension, Beth saif that Rick left Beth and her Mother and just came back when the show started.

But in the episode with Evil Rick and Punished Morty, we see that he has memories of baby Morty. So there is a chance that our Mortybis not our Rick's Morty.

I like to imagine that he thinks all ricks need to die for the good of the multiverse or something like that.

Probably a smart morty that got abandoned and now wants revenge but is willing to use Ricks to further that goal.

If there is infinite possibilities or whatever then shouldn't there be a good number of Mortys that are far smarter then Rick?

I imagine the Ricks eliminate them soon as possible.
