Did anyone else have their theater experience of seeing this

I thought it was great fun. The whole theater was laughing during the whole movie. They don't make those horror comedies like they used to, but this was a great blast back to the early 2000s.

i literally had a woman throw her popcorn in the air during the projector scene. Everyone laughed, I found it annoying. Am i broken? Or normal?

It was quiet when I saw it. There was some quiet chuckling laughter when Richie made his stupid jokes.

Some asshole screamed "YOUS A G" after that one kid gave his speech in front of that abandoned house. And some late couple blocked the Georgie scene near the end and I missed it.

But it was okay overall of an experience. I wish people didn't fucking clap at the end.

I'm pretty normie myself, but the only times I've ever gone to a movie where I can distinctly remember the audience being unusual were the third time I went to see Spider-Man (the 2003 one), and the time I went to see The Unborn.

During that particular viewing of Spider-Man a fat black lady was laughing for whatever reason during Uncle Ben's death scene. Nobody even made a joke, but she started laughing at it. She did that at almost every dramatic scene, too. Then when I went to see The Unborn, the entire audience was basically talking and making jokes to each other during the film until a scare happened, then they got silent and started laughing at each others' reactions, then resumed talking.

The theatre I saw it in was packed, but everyone was quiet, only heard some Teenage girl talking towards the end but it was a fantastic experience, the movie was actually good to, it reminded me Of The time I went to McDonald's and ordered a signature burger which turned out to be a great fucking burger.

My theater was quiet most of the time because there were no blacks, there were some light laughing here and there and a few quick screams at the loud parts but that was it. No clapping at the end either.

I wanna watch this movie alone, but don't want anyone else around. Do you think a lot of people will show up on a monday at 2'oclock with everyone at school? I kinda wanna see this movie but haven't been to the theater in ages

Went to go see it with my dad. I had a couple behind me, some landwhale and her fucktard boyfriend who put his feet on the seat next to mine that spoke the whole fucking time through it, the tub of lard just sat there playing on her phone the whole time. It was infuriating, I shot them a few looks throughout the film but they just kept doing it. Fucking retards shouldn't be allowed in theatres. I fucking hate normalfags.

Really good film, I loved it but if my dad wasn't paying for my ticket this time around I would have went to my usual matinee/morning showing so I could enjoy it in peace.

I felt bad. Why the fuck don't people hire babysitters or just go at a more convenient time? What the fuck.

My strategy, if I don't wait my usual two weeks after release, is to just go to the theater on the side of town that's filled with mostly rich old people. The theater is clean and if you go at around 11pm, most of the theater is empty because the oldfags went to the earlier showings and teenagers won't go until later. And even if I'm not alone, the other patrons are quiet and respectful because they are older or people like me that just want to watch the film.

Yeah, about halfway through the film some drunk guy came in to sit with his buddies, completely reeked of booze and immediately started overreacting to everything on the screen in typical dudebro fashion. Was sitting right in front of me so of course I'm the one stuck telling him to shut the fuck up, was hoping he'd get violent with me but he just kept turning around and pointing at me like it was supposed to be intimidating. Eventually got up to get the manager, got a few people clapping when I did which was neat but the manager was a total cuck and tried to peacefully negotiate with the drunk faggot for about 10 minutes before finally leaving to call a cop. Who of course took about 15 minutes to arrive just as the final climax in the sewers was happening.

Really, the only patrician method of watching a movie seems to be waiting for it to have been out two weeks and then seeing the latest showing on a weekday with some buds. Basically the home theater experience as nine times out of ten the theater is empty so you can just loudly riff on it the whole time.

What if we had a theater specifically designed for this shit? Like charge half the price of a usual ticket with the caveat that there are no expectations of civility or rules of politeness in effect.
