Did anyone else have their theater experience of seeing this ruined by normies?

>Over the top laughter
>Literally screaming at the "Scary moments"
>Commenting on literally every fucking scene "oh no don't go in there, oh no he is going in there oh no"

I liked the movie, overall it was a solid film but I seriously left before the last half hour.
>>
I thought it was great fun. The whole theater was laughing during the whole movie. They don't make those horror comedies like they used to, but this was a great blast back to the early 2000s.
>>
>seeing a hyped new release the weekend it comes out

You asked for it
>>
>>87578364

I enjoy when the whole theater laughs together. But my god people were pointing at the scream and guffawing like retards at every little joke.

>>87578378

i literally had a woman throw her popcorn in the air during the projector scene. Everyone laughed, I found it annoying. Am i broken? Or normal?
>>
It was quiet when I saw it. There was some quiet chuckling laughter when Richie made his stupid jokes.
>>
Some asshole screamed "YOUS A G" after that one kid gave his speech in front of that abandoned house. And some late couple blocked the Georgie scene near the end and I missed it.

But it was okay overall of an experience. I wish people didn't fucking clap at the end.
>>
>>87578304
I'm not a burger so no.

There were quite a few laughs though because Richie had some great lines
>>
Also ruined by niggers.
>>
>>87578304
There was a group of black kids that wouldn't shut the fuck up for the entire movie. At the very end one of them started chimping out because he lost his wallet. After they left a group of quiet white kids found it and laughed.
>>
Only scene anyone reacted to was the one in the bathroom after dad dead.
>>
>>87579257
lol, I jumped at the projector scene when he crawled out. This one woman fucking went a foot high in the air at some scene I don't remember.

Yeah some jackass spilled his soda at the end of my row at the start of the movie and the floor was all sticky when I was leaving at the end.

>>
stop going to black theaters
>>
>>87578304
SURPRISE! Normies go to the theater and ruins experience with their idiotic behavior!

I just watch Jackie Brown at the New Berverly Cinema in Hollywood and I could have sworn the audience thought the movie was a pure comedy. There was no 5 minutes without people bellying laughing.

"I hate to be the kind of nigga that helps and nigga out and then bam hits the nigga up for a favor." "Fuck you talking about?" "I need a favor, nigga." HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH

Shut the fuck up. They're comedic but nothing is worth hysterical laughter. The people came off as idiots just laughing to show they "understood" the scenes. Jackie Brown is pretty dark, the people didn't seem to understand the tones.

I'm pretty normie myself, but the only times I've ever gone to a movie where I can distinctly remember the audience being unusual were the third time I went to see Spider-Man (the 2003 one), and the time I went to see The Unborn.

During that particular viewing of Spider-Man a fat black lady was laughing for whatever reason during Uncle Ben's death scene. Nobody even made a joke, but she started laughing at it. She did that at almost every dramatic scene, too. Then when I went to see The Unborn, the entire audience was basically talking and making jokes to each other during the film until a scare happened, then they got silent and started laughing at each others' reactions, then resumed talking.
>>
The theatre I saw it in was packed, but everyone was quiet, only heard some Teenage girl talking towards the end but it was a fantastic experience, the movie was actually good to, it reminded me Of The time I went to McDonald's and ordered a signature burger which turned out to be a great fucking burger.
>>
My theater was quiet most of the time because there were no blacks, there were some light laughing here and there and a few quick screams at the loud parts but that was it. No clapping at the end either.
>>
I wanna watch this movie alone, but don't want anyone else around. Do you think a lot of people will show up on a monday at 2'oclock with everyone at school? I kinda wanna see this movie but haven't been to the theater in ages
>>
>>87579596

his movies are so superficial that the only way to view is as some farce or comedy
>>
>>87579654
Go at noon and you'll be the only person in the theater if none of the other NEETs and retirees get the same idea.
>>
I go to 21+ theaters not for the alcohol but just to avoid shitty movie goers (i.e. teens, niggers, ect)

Every now and again you get some group of college DUDEBRO's who have been drinking for 3 months and have to let everyone know how much of a good time they are having but they are few and far between.
>>
>>87579654
The earlier you go on a weekday screening, the more likely you're gonna be more isolated. There's no way you're gonna be completely alone, though, unless you go to watch The Nutjob 2.

Just don't make the mistake of living in Baltimore like I did.
>>
Went to go see it with my dad. I had a couple behind me, some landwhale and her fucktard boyfriend who put his feet on the seat next to mine that spoke the whole fucking time through it, the tub of lard just sat there playing on her phone the whole time. It was infuriating, I shot them a few looks throughout the film but they just kept doing it. Fucking retards shouldn't be allowed in theatres. I fucking hate normalfags.

Really good film, I loved it but if my dad wasn't paying for my ticket this time around I would have went to my usual matinee/morning showing so I could enjoy it in peace.

I don't live in the USA (I'm Belgian). Earliest screening here is at 14:00 here. I'm just wondering if it's weird to go alone. I haven't been to the cinema in so long beacuse of my social anxiety even though I used to go alone all the time as a kid.
>>
Why can we have the option to pay like $25 or something to stream new movies and enjoy it in our homes without millennials screeching every 5 minutes

>jump scare
>''ahhhhhhhhh im loud, it scared me, notice me everybody''
>forced joke on screen
>''hahahahahahaha I got the joke, im loud, notice me''
>>
>>8757830
saw it in XD so didnt hear shit but the movie, spend more money nigger
>>
>this couple who brought their 6 year old son
>he starts crying and saying he's scared
>they just tell him to go to sleep

I felt bad. Why the fuck don't people hire babysitters or just go at a more convenient time? What the fuck.
>>
My strategy, if I don't wait my usual two weeks after release, is to just go to the theater on the side of town that's filled with mostly rich old people. The theater is clean and if you go at around 11pm, most of the theater is empty because the oldfags went to the earlier showings and teenagers won't go until later. And even if I'm not alone, the other patrons are quiet and respectful because they are older or people like me that just want to watch the film.
>>
>>87579921
It's not weird. I doubt it's even less weird in Europe. It's only a meme on /tv/, no one cares if you're alone to see a movie.
>>
It wasn't that bad for my theater except for the fucking jackasses who brought a baby inside and had to leave after Georgie died.

There was also this rancid fat couple who took up a single row with their weight and odor. I could remember their smell even as I walked out.
>>
>>87579921
I go on my own all the time, best way to enjoy a film- you don't have annoying people eating food loudly in your ear, you don't have to deal with them needing to go to the bathroom and telling you for some reason, I have very bad anxiety myself but there's nothing quite like booking a few showings/films at the cinema and spending the whole day watching movies alone.

Literally no one gives a shit.
>>
>>87579792

>put his feet on the seat next to mine

Every time that happens I wish pic related would appear
>>
>>87578304
There was laughing at the funny bits which there was a lot of but I was only kind of annoyed by two things by the audience. One, this lady was texting right during the fucking film for like 5 minutes, and then two there was lots of like little children there which I though was odd and this Mexican one was laughing when the fat kid was getting cut up which I thought was fucked.
>>
>>87579949
because they are too poor to hire one so they go see movies to escape their miserable pathetic lives for 2 hours. Then when they get in the car to leave they think about how if they didnt have a kid at 17 how their lives might be different or how they could have succeeded in life. The father knows he will have to get up at 6am for work tomorrow making car parts at a shitty factory he's worked at for 5 years hoping something better will come along. The wife stays at home ''house keeping'' but well all know she just its around eating, watching tv,and chatting with niggers on facebook toying with the idea of cheating on him.
>>
>>87579921
Only the US has no-singles laws. You'll be fine.
>>
There were a bunch of underage girls who would start babbling after the big scares about how scary that was, which was annoying.

Also, right before they made the blood pact some guy a row behind us decided it would be funny to scream at the top of his lungs. I hate people.

I have been thoroughly trying to study why black people dont understand how to do anything quietly and contently. When you ask peoples opinon on why in normal forums or Q'As you will get a shit tone of liberals and shit skins trying to excuse it as their "CULTURE" and will go as far as to say that it is more lively and some how superior to whites and just sitting there absorbing the movie and that it is us who are weird for not having conversations with friends and acting out in the theater. They will point to black churches as a example of how much more "fun" they are and interactive

Even more interesting tho is when you bring up maybe this "cultural" tend lends to their worse performance in school where it is required and beneficial to sit and listen attentively they will call you racist.

I remember seeing 28 Weeks later in the theater and this black guy was sitting next to me and my friend. He would point out how awful the movie was in real time, then at the end when the credits rolled he yelled "$10.00 for that?!". The rest of the theater including myself laughed and clapped for him for telling it how it is.

1. Spiderman doesn’t exist.
After an extensive analysis, researchers at Cambridge University have concluded that the larger a person is, the more adhesives he would need to stick to a wall, making it virtually impossible for a normal sized human being to have the characteristics of Spiderman. “If a human, for example, wanted to climb up a wall the way a gecko does, we’d need impractically large sticky feet -- and shoes in European size 145 or US size 114,” said Walter Federle, senior author also from Cambridge’s Department of Zoology. As for Batman, the jury’s still out.

2. Most of your Facebook friends are not really your friends.
A study done by an Oxford University professor of more than 3,300 Facebook users in the UK concluded that there were only 4.1 “dependable” friends out of a typical user’s 150 Facebook friends. “Friendships,” our brave professor concluded. “Have a natural decay rate in the absence of contact, and social media may well function to slow down the rate of decay. However, that alone may not be sufficient to prevent friendships eventually dying naturally if they are not occasionally reinforced by face-to-face interaction.”

Social networks “typically encourage promiscuous ‘friending’ of individuals who often have very tenuous links to ego.” Darn, and I was just going to invite all my Facebook friends over to watch GoT next Sunday.
>>
>>87581072
Most of these studies are done by students

>>87578304

Yes. A kid next to me would not shut up the entire time, during the scene where IT comes out of the fridge I finally clicked and just said "yo, can you shut up?!" and he and his friends didn't talk for the rest of the movie.

I don't see the allure of theater viewings. Literally throwing your money at joos. Id much rather watch film from the comfort of my basement
>>
Yeah, about halfway through the film some drunk guy came in to sit with his buddies, completely reeked of booze and immediately started overreacting to everything on the screen in typical dudebro fashion. Was sitting right in front of me so of course I'm the one stuck telling him to shut the fuck up, was hoping he'd get violent with me but he just kept turning around and pointing at me like it was supposed to be intimidating. Eventually got up to get the manager, got a few people clapping when I did which was neat but the manager was a total cuck and tried to peacefully negotiate with the drunk faggot for about 10 minutes before finally leaving to call a cop. Who of course took about 15 minutes to arrive just as the final climax in the sewers was happening.

Really, the only patrician method of watching a movie seems to be waiting for it to have been out two weeks and then seeing the latest showing on a weekday with some buds. Basically the home theater experience as nine times out of ten the theater is empty so you can just loudly riff on it the whole time.
>>
Nah everyone in my theater was pretty hushed, except for two groups of black girls in the back who started arguing half-way through but they got escorted out

What if we had a theater specifically designed for this shit? Like charge half the price of a usual ticket with the caveat that there are no expectations of civility or rules of politeness in effect. It'd be fully understand that people who choose the 'Casual' theater experience are free to talk and be as rowdy as they'd like.

>watching anything besides comedy or action at the movies
It's almost like you don't want to have atmosphere and immersion

All of this, and some fuckers was smoking in our theater. I enjoyed the movie, but the watching experience was particularly shitty this time.

Are you deluded or just dumb

If even half of what I've heard about American audiences is true, then I honestly feel so bad for my yank Kinophile brothers.
>>
In Britain literally the only time an audience has ever shown any emotion was during the Union Jack parachute in that one Bond film.

Huh. You know what, I think I'd actually classify this as a horror comedy. There's enough humor in there that it qualifies, I think.
Probably the greatest horror comedy of all time desu.

worst I've seen was laughing and even then it was appropriate since it was during the more humorous scenes

Yeah, who the fuck is this faggot? He literally made a thread on the internet just to bitch about not having a good time at the fucking movies... who the fuck does that? He's probably only pissed that he didn't have any friends to watch the movie with. He literally got so triggered that he "walked out an hour early" op... you're such a bitch

>kid three rows down watching wrestling videos on his phone the whole movie
I thought dumbass parents who bring their young children to R-rated films were bad enough, but ones who bring their kids to not even watch the movie are several times worse. I'm still upset they weren't seized and beaten by ushers before being thrown out.
