I preferred Volume 1 but there's nothing wrong with 2.

I really should go back and watch them both. I don't think I've seen either since they first came out on DVD a million years ago. I absolutely loathed the both of them and think they are QT's worst.

After a rewatch of Death Proof it grew on me quite substantially, I wonder if either of these will do the same.

I prefer Vol. 2. The characters of Budd and Bill really sell it for me and that trailer fight between The Bride and Elle is the best action scene in the duology.

The only thing the Crazy 88 action scene people raved about had was the gore. And once you've seen it a couple of times it loses it's novelty.

The Kill Bill duology is the epitome of Tarantino's "cinema collage" style of blending dozens of ideas from older films.

It is by far his best project he has ever worked on and he hasn't made a good film since he finished it.
