No, I meant moreso the idea that entities in his universe knew they existed inside a universe created by King. You can start to examine what makes something "real". Kind of like Cloud Atlas... you read a story and the universe is created and the protagonist runs through their life. Then that protagonist reads a story of another protagonist and down the line the universes are created. So when you read a book, you create the universe and causality and any action that happens, happens because you read it. There is no distinction from real life. Who is to say that your life isn't just a story being read by some person one layer up? To be fair, your story is pretty fucking boring and you should end it soon.
