Yes they are not absolute masterpieces and you certainly don't have to like them, but mediocre?
Mediocre implies something average, and I'm pretty sure you didn't see a film like Dunkirk or Drive in quite some time.
Even Manchester by the Sea handles it's subject in a quite original way, a "mediocre" film with that subject would be filled with over the top crying, fake empathy, a big positive character arc at the end etc.
They are all atleast above average.
