It gets so much worse now, some of the battles are well done, but the actual story gets so bad.

Starting at s5 it takes a dip with s7 being the worst one so far. It's not as terrible as /tv/ want you to believe but it becomes more action and less about plot.

Because for 5 years it was nothing but Yaasss Slay Queen. For five. Fucking. Years. Nothing but that. Interacting with Tyrion and Jon forced to her to adopt some of their personality traits like modesty, empathy and a moral compass. Vastly improved the character.
