I really liked it. Amazing looking film made for only a million dollars by a first time director. The story is told almost entirely through visual narrative. The score/soundtrack is fucking phenomenal.

the plot is interesting enough. Not a "le deep XD" film...the plot is pretty straightforward
people didn't like the ending i guess. Not sure how else they should have done it. (girl uses psychic powers to make the guy explode like in that DePalma film?)

I really liked it. In a world of SHOCKING ENDINGS and ebin twists it was nice to see one that manages to completely subvert every audience expectation. I also have a really soft spot for movies that pull off the "it was all a dream" well like this one. The ending shot of the movie is perfect. The POV of the movie is revealed to be (you) falling asleep on the couch after watching spoopy movies all night.
