moments when a show jumped the shark

What show is that and why do so many films and tv shows have such a dull, lifeless color palette?

*modern films and television
Just so you know

Ozark and because it's supposed to be dreary and sad

You have to admit it was satisfying on a certain level.

Thanks for the correction. Seriously though, I absolutely hate the color palettes used by modern films. They are either completely desaturated or use way to much blue and orange.

Pretty much but still, but you can't expect american writers to actually understand how to build up atmosphere for an unexpected death. Since it has turned into a trend, they are using the same formula over and over, I wasn't shocked by any of the deaths on this show because you could tell them coming from miles away, this one was particularly funny and ridiculous.
They jumped the shark when they killed the mexican. That moment killed Ozark for me. I'm only watching if it means next season the cartel will tear the rednecks apart and crucify them in the lake.
