I'm confident enough that she lets directors have some creative control without going overboard. Look at Rogue One. Edwards had a lot of freedom but he didn't over do it. It sounds like Trevorow overstepped his bounds too many times for their liking though.

Doing this one film would raise Shane's profile enough that he could get The Modern Ocean and A Topiary made.
