I actually unironically enjoyed this, it's comfy.

It's one of the greatest television series of all time, what's so astonishing about appreciating it?

its fucking momcore
First 3 seasons were good. Then it turned to complete shit. The part where what's-his-name dies in the car accident is one of the worst sequences in TV history

I was more upset that the sister died after giving birth, I think the deaths kind of sucked, and was at first bad tension.
I read someone a couple weeks back saying Downton Abbey represents Ayn Rand objectivism pretty well, not that I buy into that philosophy. Though characters doing actions that benefit themselves more than for a bigger group.
Poldark is better

I've seen Poldark, I'm not catched up, I saw what was on Amazon and what episodes of the new season like a month back. It's pretty good actually.

It's like Downton Abbey but things.. happen
I distinctly remember the show taking a sharp nose dive during season three.
Before that though it was comfy as fuck.

I know I'm OP, I've seen both. Things do happen in Downton I've watched it all the way through their is lots of character growth and interesting plot.
Poldark is them hacking way trying to find tin in a fucking mine and not starving every winter, I mean good tension, but Downton I though was more interested.
