Why did so many people complain about the diversity in this, even RLM bitched. Even schools in the suburbs are more diverse than this, my middle school was 60% Latino and I lived in "sheltered white" suburb. Peter goes to an inner city NYC school, if anything the movie was far less diverse than real life. The Sam Raimi Spidermans were a white washed joke.

I find the obese friend more of visual blight in the film then the over-represented ethnic minorities.

But they weren't over represented, they are underrepresented even in this. When's the last time you saw an urban high school?
