Actually?
Good setting, interesting pieces on the chessboard. Convoluted narrative with characters the live in mystery which doesn't hold up thru their grand schemes.
Why are newer tv series killing off most of the important players before getting anywhere with them?
It started out great with mystery and intrigue, social class divisions, and some room for memes - but the end has a bunch of witless characters we don't care about sailing off for an undeveloped nation with a less-complex social structure.

be very careful now...
>Muh big company is ebil!!!
Dropped
>>87402869
Started strong with great costumes and general set design. Meandered and went nowhere storywise in the end though. Felt way too short too. Virtually nothing happens. They set all this stuff up and there is no payoff.

this
also, most of the characters are pretty dull except for James.hmmm
mhmm very entertaining
Hardy is a being of pure meme magic
First episode is dripping in spooky atmosphere, love it, but as it goes on it gets more ridiculous and intricate, but none-the-less fun to watch, would mhmm watch second season

if they can unf*ck themselves in s2, then s3 will be worth watching.
>>87402869
They set up a lot of backstory and plotlines that don't get solved and it ends on basically a big "TO BE CONTINUED."
Nothing wrong with setting up for a second season but they really didn't address a lot of stuff they set up. You have to give the audience something. You can't hold all the cards to your chest.
It's why I wouldn't even recommend anybody rewatch the first season before the second airs. It can literally be condensed into a short youtube video on actual crucial plot points that happened.

Yes, they didn't know what they were going to do with her after she stopped being a victim, mainly because her character was just a compendium of skeevy wank fantasies.
>>87404347
>You have to give the audience something
gave us heaps of legit suspense
