Kathryn Bigelow - Detroit.
All of these lesser auteurs are getting massive critical acclaim. The Snyder's passion project JL should also betting better reviews than them right? I honestly won't be able to digest it if people like Nolan and Del taco getter more acclaim than Snyder.
More importantly will Snyder win best director?

Watchmen is good, but I honestly think that BvS is better. While Watchmen tries to be an overall faithful adaptation even if it does focus on some themes more than others, BvS takes several different famous arcs and weaves them into their own unique story with a message that is entirely its own. It's what Nolan attempted with TDKR, but even more ambitious and in my opinion, far more worthy of praise.
I really hope this man finally gets the respect he deserves.

It isn't enough. He needs to be recognized as a superior director than the likes of Aronofsky n, Nolan, Del Toro , etc...
