Critics will never ever accept Snyder. BvS was a masterpiece and look how fast they sabotaged that one. Honestly mad props to Zack for not tapping out after BvS. He gave the pleb critics the finest wine and all they could whine about was that it wasn't tap water.

i think it might get worse for him, even if he works with an original non fantasy script the whole dialogue would revolve around his career as a narrative, its already partially happened through mos into and after bvs, and to a point the story of the production of the movie overshadows the actual movie, it could just be something that comes with interest and the fact that there's nothing else to talk about in regards to this, but it could very well go into the extreme

the discussion around these movies is the real attraction for people. worst case scenario, whether or not only dedicated fans watch his work would become an actual consideration, as people build a perception around him that overpowers anything he actually does
