Why are all the new fall shows total garbage? I go through a list of like 50 new shows and all I see that are even vaguely worth looking at are:

A.P. Bio (NBC) - comedy with IASIP Dennis. Might be mildly amusing
Dynasty - Will be total shit. I'll check the first ep for Liz Gillies
Ghosted - Tired fat fat black guy skinny white guy buddy cop shit with some paranormal twist. I'll check out the first ep because both actors can be amusing sometimes.
The Gifted - Some x men ripoff shit, checking it out for Amy Acker
The Orville - Star Trek parody that I have a million times more interest in seeing than the actual new ST series.

Everything else looks like some really rehashed capeshit, or endless doctor/lawyer/cop redone crap. Shit the guy who did House is literally just doing the same show over but with different actors and thinks people won't notice.

What about Netflix/Amazon/Cable?

Mindhunters sounds decent.

>The Orville - Star Trek parody that I have a million times more interest in seeing than the actual new ST series.
I'm cautiously optimistic that Orville could actually end up being a genuinely good spiritual successor to Trek - it's a parody, but it's a parody in the same kind of earnest, respectful vein as Galaxy Quest.

STD is gonna be a shitshow, I need Orville to be at least watchable.

Only ones I see on cable that look okay are maybe the Deuce or the Halcyon.

>Orville

Toilet humor in the promos. It's going to be crap.
>>
Network TV is for middle aged women to watch bachelor(ettes) and dancing with D-list stars.

The Deuce is going to be Pornkino. Pilot was really good.

Cable is shit too this season though.

And there's usually 1 or 2 network shows that don't look like total shit.
>>

the halcyon was shithouse

>Dennis in a network show
>Seth McFar Trek looking good at all

No.

>Orville

There are a few Family Guy-esque punchlines scattered throughout, but as bafflingly as this sounds, The Orville is mostly a straightforward drama… and not a very good one, at that. Riddled with sci-fi clichés and paralyzed by a grim self-importance, MacFarlane’s shiny new vessel ends up being a colossal dud that not only fails to take flight, it short-circuits before it even gets out of the docking bay.

Derivative storylines that awkwardly mix the frat-bro humor found on MacFarlane’s animated programs with unexceptional space adventures, “The Orville” attempts a mind-meld between classic “Star Trek: The Next Generation” and warmed-over “Family Guy,” but it never really gets there.

There’s something there or, more to the point, bits and pieces of something there, but it needs work. Boy, does it need work. Obviously, with any Seth MacFarlane project, we have certain expectations. MacFarlane has every right to mix it up, though, and not create an outer space “Ted” or an intergalactic “Family Guy.” But he needs to know what he’s creating and why. Because unfortunately, we sure don’t.

lol more like Orful

To be perfectly honest, I don't trust a word out of any reviewer any more. They're all paid off, or they have a grudge, or the show runner didn't hire enough jews or whatever.

Not to say it isn't going to suck, it might. But some faggot 'tv critic' isn't to be trusted or even read.

Maybe the bad looking show is bad, which is why 100% of the people who have seen it are saying it is bad?

If (((critics))) hate it, it must be because the lead is a white male goy. Remember, critics loved ghostbusters, tampon edition.
