Its all cheap flash animation and god awful CGI thats hard on your eyes.
There hasn't been in over a decade.
Nope. I've given up on cartoons. Was hoping for the new season of Samurai Jack to look decent, but it let me down with its CG vehicles and general ugliness

This show is awful.

I liked the last season well enough but agree with you. Wasn't the same as the original run, which was really something special.
Also, why did they make jack look white in S5?
>>87358482
Because asians are white

"No".

I think they just made his face more expressive and emotional. He barely talked and always had that stern look on his face with his eyes slightly squinting giving him that super serious look.

Gumball is pretty funny though. and Gravity Falls is good.

>cartoons then
>half of the image is looney tunes and ren and stimpy
>throw in shitty hanna barabara cartoons
shiggy
also gumball may have the cal arts porportions and style, but it is animated exceptionally well, has beautiful backgrounds, and cool variation of animation styles
>>87358537
I liked Gravity Falls
And Over The Garden Wall was pretty cool, it also has a similar style

>but it is animated exceptionally well
Well when your characters look like noodles, that's an easy proposition. I could make some amazingly animated stick figures, is that a good style now?
American Cartoons in general have been looking shit for nearly a deacde now. I tried watching stuff aimed at adults like Bojack and Rick and Morty And I couldn't get past how ugly they are. I can't even remeber the writing.

Looney Tunes is timeless.

>i could make some amazingly animated stick figures
no you couldn't. besides the point, people garnered huge following on newgrounds and youtube by abimating stick figure fight scenes, they just arent good for expressing and conversation. gumball's style is excellent for expressing. simple to an extent does not mean bad, in fact, many cartoons thrive on their simplicity. Johnny Bravo had very simple designs yet expressed fantastically

Every character is pretty much different. They don't look like stick figures.
