I think Power Rangers has cool potential but this is completely true. Saban saw the show as a means to an end and literally nothing more. Commercials are more well produced. There is absolutely no semblance of quality.

Show premiered in August 93. Graduation episode aired April 97. In the real world a high school freshman in California can have a learners permit. Though pretty sure we only ever saw them using the Radbug to fly to the Command Center in season 1 anyway. Trini had a car in one episode but it was a dream.

The whole series is a tommy's fanfic, who in real life was bullied constantly in high school and beaten by his stepfather. The later series sees tommy in an alcohol and drug fueled stupor as he works as a janitor. The last episode of power rangers will reveal this.
