He actually was, defoe ryuk was a bit of a letdown. Nigga L was decent except when he acted out of character and started spazzing but I blame that on the script and director

i only watched til scene with L putting on sleep VR goggles. i was surprised it wasn't that bad to that point. i loved the show, dafoe yuk was kinda whack. light wasn't as gay as i thought he was about to be, misa miss is a fucking babe. annoying poser L made me stop. tough to do the whole series in a movie i guess. i'll finish it later and report back since i know you all care what i think.
