What was the goddame point of the gay blow-job sence!!! They could have had the gay FBI agent subplot without this!

I just finished the third episode and I'm about to throw in the towel. The hillbilly characters are shit and the faggotry was unnecessary.

Same.
Just finished episode four. The main family are all horrible people (though the boy isn't that bad). Can't sympathize with such shits.

I think that's the point. This show is made to make you feel like shit. You don't like the characters yet your depressed watching them all fall to pieces.
I couldn't care less if the FBI guy was gay. As far as I can tell it doesn't really have any effect on the story.
Actually except the part where he befriends the one redneck to try and get information by paying for fly fishing lessons and drops the bombshell of the fact he's gay. If he was trying to maintain being under cover and keep that guy's trust, why would he do that? Anybody would know some yokel from hill country probably isn't exactly #woke, and he's a fucking high ranking FBI agent. He didn't even have to lie about it if he didn't want to, just don't bring it up.
Maybe that will play a larger role in the show down the line, but at this point it just seems like a superfluous detail with no real point.

You answered your own question. It's a ploy to trigger you to fabricate buzzfeed.
>>87332889
Honest question, is it worth finishing? Ive only seen 1st episode and it was okay
>>87333845
Yes, it has a top-tier daughterfu.
>>87333845
yes the show is great if you don't get triggered by like 5 minutes of gay shit throughout the whole show
anyone else crank one out to the thought of the guys wife cheating on him and getting spanked?
>redneck poofters
yeah, nah

There's a legit plot related reason the guy enjoys benis?
